The official web platform for the Technological University of the Philippines Taguig Thesis Archive — a centralized digital repository designed to preserve, manage, and explore institutional research.
The Challenge
Decades of academic theses and capstone research were stored on physical paper or disparate drives, making literature review difficult and leading to duplicate research topics.
The Solution
Built a centralized web portal with semantic metadata tagging, role-based faculty approvals, and visual analytics detailing research trends across academic disciplines.
Technical Decisions
NestJS Modular Backend
Used NestJS to cleanly segregate authentication, document indexing, and analytics reporting into testable, scalable modules.
Recharts Visualizations
Rendered fast SVG-based research trend graphs enabling academic chairs to analyze topic volume year over year.
